Founded by Austin Moon, a rising senior in high school and published author, MoonBooks Publishing House aims to provide a platform for students to publish their own books and share their stories with the world.
At MoonBooks, we believe in empowering young writers through education and opportunity. Our specialized writing to publishing program designed and taught by Austin is to help create a new generation of storytellers. Through this program, students learn the essentials of writing, editing, and the publishing process, gaining invaluable skills to craft and share their narratives.

MoonBooks Publishing House was founded by Austin Moon in 2023. After writing and publishing his own science fiction novel, The Moonshot Saga: Earthbound, and learning the benefits of writing, he noticed an issue. Many ESL, non-native, and newcomers to the United States students lacked opportunities to learn reading and writing outside of school. This was due to a lack of available resources and support. As a result, he wanted to provide that opportunity.

Having parents who are immigrants and having taken ESOL when I was younger, I deeply understand these challenges. It struck me how many of the students seeking out my classes shared similar backgrounds. Recognizing this, I felt a strong want to provide these students with the opportunities I once needed.
Looking ahead, I hope to provide a supportive community for young writers to share their work, receive constructive feedback, and learn from each other's experiences.
This platform is dedicated to and for students. I believe that everyone can always learn more from writing. By connecting with peers who share similar interests and passions, I hope that more students can feel empowered and motivated to continue writing.
